[not legible] hereby given to all whom it may concern [not legible] John [not legible] and James [not legible] [not legible] [not legible] of the United States over the age of twenty one years having discovered a vein or lode of [not legible] of rock in place bearing Silver & Gold [not legible] the limits of the claim hereby located [not legible] this day under an in accordance with the revised statutes of the United States Chapter Six Title Thirty Two located Fifteen hundred [not legible] feet of this vein or lode [not legible] surface ground six hundred feet in width situated in El Dorado Canyon mining district County of Lincoln State of nevada and known as the Avalanche [not legible] Mining Claim and Standing Fifteen hundred feet from this notice placed in a monument to a similar monument in a westerly direction along the line of this lode [not legible] at the wash monument and [not legible] and [not legible] southerly 300 feet to a monument of [not legible] easterly 1500 feet to a monument thence northerly 600 feet to a monument, thence westerly 1500 feet to a monument thence 300 feet to center monument forming a [not legible] [not legible]
