Las Vegas - April 5, 1943 R-2 Mr. Frank Strong: We are In reoelpt of an application fro® L. L. Snyder for a location on our industrial site on Clark Avenue, on which he proposes to establish a coal yard. This is the 100-foot frontage between the Republic Supply Company and the underpass, and is located directly across Clark Avenue from his store. He proposes to ship in 8 car loads of coal from Salt Lake City and stockpile it during the summer while a supply is available. He states since Ira Earl sold out there is only one ooal yard in town (National Ice) and he sees a very definite need for this here. I shall be glad to learn of your reaction to his application. WALtta ft. BRACKEN
