Mr, W. R, Bracken? lour letter of the SSnd! X will be glad to address the Klwanis Club at Las Vegas, on Wednesday, February 11th. In the meantime, X wish you would let me have the benefit of your suggestions as to Just what subjects X should attempt to discuss other than the desire of the railroad company to bring Industries to that community. In the memorandum of conference held In your office, you state "during his talk the subject of an adequate water supply will be mentioned. It is hoped that he will frankly state the problem without any suggestions as to the manner of correcting it.* X would like to have you elaborate a little more fully as to Just how you think I should approach the water problem. X take it that it is your view X should dwell considerably on the necessity for the conservation in the use of water and X would like to give them some definite information as to the per capita consumption during the summer months, which we have heretofore stated is 600 gallons, but will want to know this is an actual fact and can be substantiated by the records. I will be in Las Vegas early next week and will talk to you' further about it. Los Angeles, January S3, 1942, W. H. G UILD
