June, July and August we will only meet once a month. We will plan mostly fun activities that will allow us to get to know one another better. Possibly a second community service effort will be initiated in August.
Your parents are invited to all AKATEENS activities. Please encourage them to come out and join in the fun. The HIV/AIDS Workshop will require a permission slip be signed. You will not be allowed to attend the workshop if the permission slip is not signed.
REMEMBER THAT ALL ACTIVITIES ARE MANDATORY. WE WILL ALLOW CERTAIN EXCEPTIONS. (I.E. FAMILY EMERGENCY, A SCHOOL EVENT OR TESTING, WORK) YOU MUST NOTIFY A COMMITTEE MEMBER IN ADVANCE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ATTENDING A SCHEDULED EVENT.
