Mr* W* H, Johnson - Los Angeles Referring to your verbal request that I locate all of the underground pipe line crossings in Union Pacific Railroad private street westerly of Main Street between G&rces Avenue and Charleston KLvd* Las Vegas# Nevada* I have had Superintendent Doyle try to locate the water main crossings in this road, but due to interference of other metallic substances adjacent to the road he states that the interference with his finding apparatus is such that it is impos­sible to locate the lines in this area* He also states that there are several sewer crossings Involved which of course could not be located with the finder.
