? subordinate to the right of the Land Company to use and grant others a right to use, easement area for any purpose not incon­sistent with the easement, and subject to conditions, limit­ations, restrictions, encumbrances, easements and licenses, District Indemnifying Land Company against loss, damage, liabil­ity, cost and expense resulting from negligence of the Dis­trict, and, further, that should District abandon the use of easement area or any part thereof, or fail to use the same for purposes set out, for a continuous period of one year, ease­ment shall cease and Land Company shall have the right to resume exclusive possession; be, and the same is hereby rati­fied, approved and confirmed,, On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Payne and Secretary Dixon in executing Agreement C.L.D. No. 1^9*H, dated OalfQber 30, 196^, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, called "Water Company", and Southern Counties Gas Company of California, called "Licensee", whereby Water Company grants Licensee permission to lay, construct, use, operate, maintain, repair and renew ninety (90) feet of 6" steel casing pipe on an existing 2" gas pipe line located within the boundaries of Eighth Avenue, City of Industry, County of Los Angeles, State of California, term five years, effective October 30, 196^, consideration $5»00 as rental for the term, subject to revoc­ation by Water Company on sixty (60) days written notice; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. -3-
