Bracken, Las Yegas, Nev,: Your mailgram B-31, Sept. 29,1939: In regard to the quarterly charge of #3,00 for garbage fee made by the City of Las Vegas, our Valuation, Land and Tax Commissioner has advised that inasmuch as this charge was made in accordance with a City Ordinance and represents the cost of a service rendered by the City, the amount should be charged to Operating Expenses and not to Taxes, In view of the above, your Form 183 covering the fourth quarter of 1939 will be corrected accordingly, and an adjustment of the third quarter made in October 1939 Account* S-403, F.
