D. B. and M., in said Clark County, (formerly a part of -.incoln County) State of Nevada, and recorded in the office of the Jounty Recorder of Linooln County, Nevada, and as further shown m d delineated,! upon the map accompanying the application for this franchise now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Clark Jounty, for the purpose of supplying the said unincorporated town >f Las Vegas and its inhabitants with water for all necessary and iseful purposes* SECTION 2. That for the purpose of maintaining said systn >f water works, and of extending the same from time to time as teoessity may require, the said grantee is, and its successors and tsslgns, are hereby given and granted a right of way over and ihrough the said streets and alleys of said unin—corporated town of »as Vegas, with the right to make the necessary excavations in said itreets and alleys in order to lay its water pipes therein, and to take all necessary repairs to said system of water works, or any art thereof, SECTION 3* In consideration of the grant of franchise, Ight and privilege hereby granted the said grantee, its successors nd assigns, agree to: (A) In all oases, after making any excavations in the treets and alleys of said town, restore said streets and alleys to heir former condition, (B) Hold said unincorporated town harmless from any and 11 liability for damages to persons or property caused by excavatioi ade in the streets and alleys of said town by it or them. .4—
