CLOSE-UP - ELVIRA The swinging pendulum begins its descent toward her. ELVIRA (yells) Hurry, Adrian! CUT TO: DUNGEON - OUTSIDE THE PENDULUM CHAMBER Adrian bangs his fists against the door. ADRIAN Elvira! Elvira!! He turns and rams his shoulder against the door, but it doesn't budge. CUT TO: PIT AND PENDULUM CHAMBER Inch by inch, the pendulum swings closer to Elvira. CLOSE-UP - ELVIRA She turns her head aside and sucks in her stomach as the razor-sharp pendulum swings back and forth lengthwise, just above her body. VLADIMERE He smiles maniacally as he watches the pendulum do its' work. DUNGEON - OUTSIDE THE PIT CHAMBER Adrian slams a bench from the torture chamber against the door again and again but to no avail.
