I attach a form of lease which has been submitted to them and which Mr. Wann advises is acceptable to them. The Southern Pacific ery, and, while there are some objections to our owning the machinery, it will be necessary for us to do it in order to secure them on our track; and as the ten per cent per annum will practically make us whole on the investment in the machinery, I recommend that we advise them that we will put up a building and equip it with machinery, on the terms outlined above. They will want the lease to run for ten years. If this meets with your approval I will have lease drawn up and executed and a Form 30 submitted for the improvement. C. J.
