Whittemore, General Attorney for Salt Lake City has written me that he believes the Company should own the half section adjoining our recent purchase just south of the Vegas Ranch in Nevada. I enclose herewith plat showing the Vegas Ranch colored in red, our recent purchase in yellow and the land to which Mr, Whittemore refers in green, Mr* Whittemore believes that it is essential that the Hoad should have this land, Kindly advise me if you desire any action taken• I had an option on the Northeast Quarter of Section 34 at $15,00 an acre and on the East half of the Southwest Quarter at $10.00 per acre but they have expired, I believe, however, I can get them re­newed, I also believe I could get the west half of the southwest Quarter for about $10 ,00 an acre.
