Perforated lines should run both vertically and horizontally between the bills to make them readily detachable. As carbon copies will be made of the bills, all lines and printed matter should coincide perfectly thruout the pad. The serial number in the lower left comer, and the word Duplicate wherever it occurs, have been stricken out on the attached model to indicate that they are not to be printed. In the lower left comer ’’Bills due on first of month. Pay"before 15th to avoid penalty? is to replace the serial number.
