Our City Courts were cluttered for a period of approxi­mately one and a half months in enforcing this ordinance, with people claiming their lawns were dying; that it necessitated taking up to midnight to get sufficient pressure to water their lawns, with additional people complaining that they did not have sufficient water for domestic purposes at and about the time that the restriction went off in the evening,because of the use of the water for sprinkling* Therefor®, the City Commission finally, in connection with the Water Company, found it necessary to re­move the restrictions of that ordinance. I believe that was the consensus of opinion, that Mr* Polger, present as a representative of the Water Company, thought that that would be the solution to try to see if it could accomplish the desired result.
