LAS VEGAS -- THE SANDS HOTEL: The incomparable Sammy Davis Jr. show comes to a close June 21, after a record breaking six-week engagement. With Sammy has been his singing discovery, Lola Falana, who appeared with him on Broadway in "Golden Boy." Opening June 22, is perennial favorite Red Skelton who will appear through July 26th. The Sands' new Regency Room, a gourmet dining room done in elegent decor appears to be gaining in popularity and the Cantonese cuisine in the Garden Room still remains the finest. The Sands Tower is nearing completion and when when finished will provide a commanding view of the entire Las Vegas and Paradise Valley areas. Set for completion later this summer.
