Mr. Guild -5- Mar. 31, 1942 for your ready reference a copy of exhibit introduced at that hearing showing the consumption of water in Las Vegas in 1940, and the cost of producing same. These figures might be compared with those shown on page 9 of Mr. Hulsizer’s report which cover the year 1938. The Commission, in that investigation, was quite critical of our accounting practices, especially of our practice of charging interest at 6 per cent on the Investment and depreciation of 4 per cent on the entire facilities. No opinion has been handed down as the result of that investigation, as yet, but I anticipate that those two items will be given serious consideration by the Public Service Commission. EEB:d encl.
