Great Eastern Mine
We the undersigned do hereby locate and claim fifteen hundred feet for Mining purposes on this lead Ledge [not legible] lode or deposit of Copper, Silver and Gold bearing rock and ore to be Known and described as the Great Eastern Mine
Commencing at this monument [not legible] which this notice is placed and mining Southerly seven hundred [not legible] fifty (750 ft) feet from this monument and seven hundred and fifty (750 ft) in a [not legible] direction on and along said lead lode ledge or deposit of [not legible] Silver and Gold [not legible] rock and ore, and including three hundred feet on each side thereof for mining and working [not legible]
The parallel [not legible] is bounded on each [not legible] by a monument we claim and intend to hold and work said claim and mining ground in accordance with the Mining Laws of the United States approved May 10th 1881 and in accordance with the Mining Laws of El Dorado [not legible] Mining District Lincoln County State of Nevada.
