Renwick I hand you herewith copy of letter dated May 13th from Mr. Reinhardt to Mr. Maag which Is self-explanatory. In connection with the new construction of certain of the bigger pipe lines,, the proposed contract, on Page 25* refers to a 39-inch concrete pipe line, a 24-inch cast iron pipe line or concrete lined and coated steel pipe line and a l4-inch cast iron pipe line or concrete lined and coated steel pipe line. It also makes reference to 8-inch and 6-inch cast iron pipe lines. In making your estimate, these types of pipe line should be considered. The contract is silent as to whether the dimensions of these pipe lines are inside or outside diameter. This point should be developed and after you have secured such information should be considered in making your estimate. MA> T 4 1953 La Co Co
