1 Section 6 . The land, water production, storage, trans- 2 mission and distribution systems and all other property referred 3 to in Section 1 of this agreement shall be conveyed to the District 4 upon the sale date subject to all taxes levied and assessed upon 5 or properly attributable to any of said properties in the year in 6 which the sale date occurs and subject to all conditions, restric- 7 tions, reservations, easements and Certificates of Appropriation 8 of Water of record except (subject to the provisions of Section 2 9 hereof) the Certificate of Appropriation of Water referred to in 10 Section 2 of this agreement. All such taxes including taxes levied 11 in connection with assessments upon such property made by the 12 Nevada Tax Commission shall be prorated in the escrow provided 13 for in Section 7 between First Parties and the District as of 14 the sale date except that the Railroad Companies shall bear and 15 pay all taxes levied pursuant to assessments made by the Nevada 16 Tax Commission under Section 65^6 of the Nevada Compiled Law 17 1929 as amended upon the properties of the Railroad Companies, 18 or either of them, 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29.
