Might say that u n t il we had the deluge o f sand from the new w e ll, i t was not a n t ic i­pated that a s e t t lin g b a sin would be needed, but from that experience and fe a rin g th a t same con dition might occur a ga in , I think both Dr. Boyle and Mr, Maguire are firm ly o f the b e l i e f th at we should in e t a l s e t t lin g b a sin in order to p rotect our pipe lin e s from deluge o f sand. I would r e ­commend th at t h is m atter be in clu d ed in to the 1925 budget, together with the 24" lin e from s e t t lin g basin to intake box at head o f 16" li n e .
