Bettis, Viee President & Auditor, Lag Vegas Land & Water Co,, Los Angeles, Cal, Dear Sir,- Referring to statement of collections for the. month of July, and in particular to collection from the L. V, & T, hospital, lots 20 and 21, block 2. I beg'to advise you that X tried to collect this account, as per the statement, January- to Jime §9.00, and July §1,50, from the hospital here, and they advised me that a part of this water rent has been, paid in Los Angeles by the Medical department under ||puoher ho, 16, April 20th, this year. This voucher paid for January, to March, inclusive. If, upon examination, you find their statement to be crorrect, kindly advise me, and X will then try to make collection for April,. May, June and July. Yours truly,
