E. Bennett, General Solicitor of the Union Pacific Railroad Company, acting for the Las Vegas Land and Water Company, In view of the statements as set forth In M r. Bennett's letter indicating that the "water situation w ill be very tight" until new wells are brought on production and turned into the company's distributing system,.the District adopted a formal resolution at a meeting held yesterday after­noon respectfully requesting the Board of C ity Commissioners to put into effect as of May 1, the water rationing program that was in effect last year.
