Keller and Newberry called at the office this morning requesting a lease on spur track­age on Bonanza Hoad where the Woitishek cement mixer is now located* These gentlemen represent the Perlite Company and state their holdings are located about 6| miles from Jean. If a site oan he secured here for erection of their "popping*' plant, they would truck the ore from their holdings near Jean into Las Vegas where it would he processed and shipped by rail to the California market. Understand they hare contacted the Traffic Department with reference to freight rates and you may wish to confer with them regarding traffic possi­bilities. A. K. Folger
