bred animals. In my next 2 estimates on such animals as I could buy near at $15- this being on 200 lb hogs at 7 1/2 ¢. This would be high in the East but there is but one man within 100 miles (that I have been able to hear of) in Fort Mojave who has hogs. This is J.K. McKenzie, butcher of Kingsman and Needles. We are wasting daily [not legible] than enough chop to keep there. I am sure these suggestions are for the best interests of the service and hope they will be adopted before I have to turn this money in May 31. Very Respectfully, S.M. McCowan
