/ las Vegas, Nevada. November 6, 1929* SUBJECT: SUBDIVISION RANCH ACREAGE NORTH W-2-2 OF CLARKES LAS VEGAS TOWNSITE. Mr. F.H.Enickerboeker, General Manager, Los Angeles,California. Dear £ir: Referring to our last communication o£ the above subject under date cf July 24, last, and to Mr.Gray*s letter to me dated February 26, 1929, copy of which was sent to you: now that the entire town is "sold” on that one location in City Park which carries with it a promise on the part of the City Commissioners to remove Block 16 and other undesirable incumberances in that vicinity; and with this accomplished, it will make our 60-aores (or a just part thereof) one of the most desirable abutting sub-divisions in Clark*s Las Vegas Townsite. Referring to the seoond paragraph of Mr. Gray*s letter,in reference to sub-dividing: I have in mind a plan to ask Gilbert Underwood to allow his Landscape Architect to nome out here for the purpose of advising the proper way this land should, be cut up - whether into blocks, lots, or into small parcels or estates. We have an advantage in beautifying the Creek which runs through this ground, and another advantage on being on top of the mesa overlooking the Valley, with the ranch and green-fields below; and I anticipate, if properly handled, we can clean up I am enclosing herewith issues of our daily papers in regard to the location of new Federal building.
