These applications have now been approved by me, and are being delivered today to Acting General Manager L . R. Maag. In the last paragraph of your October 23 letter, you certified to the fact that the contract prices set forth in the above numbered project applica­tions have been checked by your office and you find them to be reasonable. This is being accepted by the District as the certification required under the action taken by the District on October 22, 1953. tn addition to the above certification, the District also wants a statement from you with respect to Project 2 3 -1 -1 1 9 . This was originally sub­mitted by letter from L.R. Maag, dated Ju ly 25, 1953, and was subsequently revised by letter dated September 15, 1953. W ith the approved copies of the above numbered applications, you also re­turned the Detail of Estimated Expenditures and drawings applicable to each. We believe that this was inadvertently done, as you usually retain a copy of these for your files. The District has previously been furnished with a dupli­cate set of these items.
