In the past year as in preceding years it has developed through the current practice at Las Vegas of permitting contract parties to pay County taxes that certain taxes have gone delinquent. While no detriment has seriously attached to our company so far it is a practice which I helieve should he discontinued and that in the coming and future years all taxes on company property should be paid through this office and those responsible for refund of portions thereof through contract agreements be billed accordingly* This will protect the property against delinquency penalty and is the only manner in which any assurance may be had without making additional and unnecessary work that our taxes have been paid.
