Los Angeles, California, Hotember 1, 1919. Mrs. Sadie B. George, c/o Mrs. Louise Ware, Arroyo Grande, Calif. Dear Madam: I am this morning advised hy Mr. Stewart’s office that he has just received a telegram from his Hew York party, dated at Chicago this forenoon, saying: "Leaving tonight. Arriving fourth. Money available in Los Angeles only upon arrival. Do what you cam." This schedule would bring this party into Los Angeles Tuesday evening, so that they should be ready for business by Wednesday. If I do not hear that it will not meet your approval to.proceed with the deal, I will assume that you consent to an extension to that date.
