Section 12: This agreement shall take effect as of the First day of January, 1950, and shall continue in full force and effect until terminated as herein provided. This agreement may be terminated by written notice given to either party by the other on any date therein stated, not less, however, than twelve months sub­sequent to the date on which said notice shall be given.
