Description
Aftermath of the Goldfield Fire of July 6, 1923. The fire destroyed approximately 25 blocks of Goldfield's Main Street after starting early that morning, and two lives were lost. Remnants of buildings and exposed brick lots are visible, while some buildings stand in the background. Arrow-shaped sign near the debris reads "Garage." Included with the photograph is the description "Times-Bonanza, Tonopah."
