ACCEPTANCE OF NOTICE We, the undersigned Mayor, Commissioners, City Manager and City Attorney of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, do hereby admit due service of the foregoing Notice of Special meeting: s/ C. CANNON, City Attorney s/ William Peccole_________________________________________________________________ WILLIAM PECCOLE, Commissioner A special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas held this 24th day of August, 1951 was called to order at the hour of 9:30 P.M. by His Honor Mayor C. D. Baker with the following members present; Commissioner Wendell Bunker Rex A. Jarrett William Peccole Reed Whipple Mayor C. D. Baker City Manager C. W. Shelley City Clerk Shirley Ballinger Absent; City Attorney Howard W. Cannon GAMING LICENSES Commissioner Peccole moved the licenses issued the 49er Club and the Cinnabar 49er Club & for one "21" table each be rescinded, said action taken August 22, 1951,and Cinnabar that these licenses be revoked and a new vote be taken by the entire Board. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. CINNABAR Commissioner Peccole moved the application of James Fare and Robert Testolin, Cinnabar, 122 North 2nd Street for a license for a "21" game for the third quarter of 1951 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, Commissioners Bunker and Whipple. 49er CLUB Commissioner Peccole moved the application of Ernest Amante and J. S. Pappas, 49er Club, 109 Fremont for a license for one "21" game for the third quarter of 1951 be denied. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, Commissioner Whipple. RESOLUTION - Commissioner Peccole moved the resolution limiting gaming licenses issued in Gaming License the City of Las Vegas be reinstated. Limitation Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
