Dear S i r : - I am handing you herewith copy of le t t e r from Mr.fe n d e rfie ld in re­gard to the Salt Lake base b a l l team train in g at Las Vegas next year instead of going to some other point. You w i l l note they would like to secure the ranch house on the Las Vegas ranch for three or four weeks, provided there are s u f f i - cient sleeping quarters. Knowing your a c tiv ity in buildin g up the in terests of Las Vegas, I am asking your cooperation in finding quarters for these people in your v ic in ity for next year. I t means quite a l i t t l e sum of money fo r the Salt Lake Route, and i f you can help us in th is direction, I assure you i t w i l l be appreciated. There is no great rush about th is matter, but I would just lik e to have your views about i t so I can t e l l our Salt Lake friends i f they desire to go to Las Vegas, suitable quarters w i l l be provided.
