41. ownership of land and private construction may increase the water consumption, but at the present time it appears advisable to assume that the per capita consumption will remain unchanged. Industrial requirements in this area are impossible to predict with any degree of assurance. The present water consumption for manufacturing and plant maintenance averages about 2.0 MOD. Booster pumps on the Lake Mead supply line have a firm capacity (with one unit out of service) of 31.8 MOD but of this amount, the management estimates thatonly the amount of 8.0 MOD could be guarantees for diversion from the Henderson area. This amount includes 4.0 „ < L'&? r y ....... - MOD allocated (but not now used) for the Air Base. This would result in a total of 23.8 MOD reserved for all purposes in the Henderson area. In the absence of any other data, this figure must be used as the ultimate consumption in the Henderson area. A summary of the estimated water consumption is as follows: J ^ n 0 0 \*V 1950 1970 2000 & XT* ^ ?Jjz Domestic Consumption - MOD 2.07 Manufacturing Consumption-MOD 2.0 Total Consumption-MOD 4.07 \>N tT' 13.2
