Las Vegas - April 34, 1945 MEMO I 33-1-B Mr. Frank Strong: In connection with water conservation program we have had in effect for the past several years. After conference with Chief of Police this morn­ing we arranged for a Special Officer to be placed on duty May 1 to assist the Police Department in enforcement of Ordi­nance prohibiting the waste of water in Las Vegas. As in pre­vious years we will share the cost, the officer's salary this year being $210.00 per month of which we will pay half.
