1 L coi^^r Hot. f# 1903. Adams Purchasing Agent, Los Angeles, Cal. Dear Sir: ith return of the enclosed correspondence regarding lumber for the Los Vegas Ranch, it is going to be pretty expensive for us to ship the stiff out there in less than carload lots. Our contractors, J.H.Horton & Co., have a number of sub-contractors at and near Ivanpah, and I presume, as supplies are going to them right along, that you can make arrangements to have this included in some of their shipments. Please take the matter up with them before shipping this lumber and talk to Mr.Horton personally on this score, and I think you can work this matter out all right. Kindly advise ml if you are unable to and I will see what other arrangements can be made. Very truly yours #13.0,
