Los Angeles, January 31, 1933 "/*> TLS ff|| Mr. Geo. Wilson: JAN 31 1933 Water meters have been installed to serve users at various locations in towns!te of Yermo, under WO-308. The following information is for your guidance in maintaining, repairing and renewing these meters: The Railroad Company furnished and installed at its sole cost and expense, stop and waste cocks, and meters registering in U. S. gallons, and all pipe lines necessary to bring water to the property line of the users. The Railroad Company, at its sole cost and expense, maintains, repairs and renews stop and waste cocks and meters, and that portion of the pipe line located outside the property line of the user. Any user*may, upon not less than 5 days notice, require the Railroad Company to test his water meter. Ho payment or deposit will be required, from the user for such test, except when the user*s average monthly bill is less than $15.00 and requests a meter test within six (6) months after installation, or more often than once a year thereafter, a deposit of fl.OO for meters of 1-inch or less, and $>3.50 for meters over i~ineh, will be required of the user to cover the reasonable cost of a test.
