At this time the Board again entered into a discussion on the City Budget. Mr. Blackman public accountant, was present to help the Board in this matter. After a lengthy discussion no decision was reached. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time the meeting recessed until Saturday the 1st day of March 1930 at the hour of eleven forty-five. OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. MARCH 1st, 1930. At a recessed regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas held on the 1st day of March 1930 at the hour of eleven forty-five P.M. Present Mayor Hesse, Commissioners German, Smith, and Thomas together with the City Attorney and Clerk. Absent Commissioner Hansell. Minutes of meeting of February 26th, 28th, at the hour of three P.M. and February 28th at the hour of seven thirty P.M. read and approved as read. Commissioner German presented to the Board the Budget for the year 1930. A fund was hereby created to be known as the Library Fund. Upon motion of Commissioner German, seconded by Commissioner Thomas it was moved that the Budget for the year 1930 be adopted as presented to the Board, and a copy of said Budget be included in the minutes of this meeting. Vote on said motion was as follows: Commissioners German, Smith, and Thomas, and His Honor the Mayor Hesse voting Aye. Noes None. Budget as follows: ESTIMATED RECEIPTS AND EXPENDITURES OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1930, AS PROVIDED BY SECTION 9, CHAPTER 42, STATUTES OF NEVADA, 1923. *Indicates totals for all bonds. Note: Licenses and Fine will be apportioned as follows: $13,000.00 Police & Fire. Fund. 10,000.00 General Fund Poll Taxes to go to Street Fund.
