Aug. 11, 1904. Mr. H. P. Myton, 421 D.F. Walker Building, Salt Lake City, Utah. Dear Sir: I beg to acknowledge receipt of your valued favor of the 8th inst, enclosing letter from Senator Reed Smoot, also from R. C. Kerens, which I have noted and return herewith. Also note what you say in regard to the Las Vegas Ranch and that you would like to have charge of same. In reply beg to say that we do not care to make any change at this time if the present manager will remain with us for a few months. Some time this fall a definite plan will be worked out what shall be done with it. I am of the opinion now that after the Railroad acquires and designates all the land that they will require for their purposes, that we will dispose of all personal property and will then probably rent or lease same portion of the ranchwith a certain amount of water.
