Dear S ir : On March 10th I wrote you r e la t iv e to two sp rin k lin g carts now at Las Vegas, ad v isin g that they had ho an f i l l e d w ith w ater hut leaked so badly they could not he used, and requested your opinion as to whether th ey should he sold , and i f sold whether we should attempt to put t h m in good con dition f i r s t . On March 15th you advised th at you thought i t would be. a good plan to dispose o f them i f a purchaser could be found. I am now in r e c e ip t o f inform ation from rr.S o la n d , Agent at la s Vegas, to the e f f e c t th at i t would cost about 080.00 to put these two w atering ca rts in good co n d itio n . Shay o r ig in a lly cost $B5G.Q0 without fr e ig h t charges. I doubt i f we w i l l have any opportunity o f s e llin g , and would hardly recommend the expenditure o f £80.00 to put them in re p a ir.
