Dear Sir,- Herewith is a letter from the State Engineer of Nevada, under date of October 18th, 1907, transmitting to Mr. Van Housen' permit for diversion of water by the Company at Big Spring, Nevada, which was sent to me by Mr. Van Housen. As this is a Nevada matter, I presume it was under your personal supervision. The permit mention­ed is also enclosed.
