Whittemore has written you that he believes the company should own the half section adjoining our recent purchase just south of the Vegas Ranch in Hevada. 1 note carefully what you say in regard to this matter. Upon receipt of your letter above referred to 1 toofc the matter up with Messrs, Hawgood and Tilton who have both been over the ground and are familiar with the lay of the land, and they do not advise the purchase of this property at this time.
