Description
A photograph of the Kessler Sisters (Ellen and Alice) performing in the "Lido Circus," which was a scene from "Avec Plaisi," staged at the Lido in Paris by Donn Arden in 1959. The Lido was a famous cabaret, and there were many Donn Arden productions at this particular location. The dancers all are wearing elaborate headdresses and costumes, and are both holding parisols. The Kessler sisters were very famous twin sisters from Germany, known for their singing, dancing, and acting. Site Name: Lido (Cabaret: Paris, France)
