Las Vegas - July 15, 1941 w 18-1-12 Mr. Frank Strong, Vice President, LVL&W Co., Los Angeles, California. Dear Sir: connection with the measurement of a "miner's inch", as it will be applied in the delivery of water to the Stewart burial plot. I enclose copy of a letter received from the State Engineer, in reply to our inquiry on this subject. I enclose also, for your file, a copy of the publication entitled, "Common Methods of Measuring Water As Practiced in Western States", and you will note on Page 30, a "miner's inch" in Nevada is considered to be equal to 11.22 gallons per minute.
