Boekes - Omaha Mr. W, H, Hulsiser- Omaha) This refers to Mr. Eeinhardt’s letter of Movember 16, 1950 with which he submitted t© you, for approval, Mr* Boy A* Wehefs final report on the results of operations of the water department of the LVL&W Go* at La® Vegas, Hevada* This report has been reviewed and all data contained therein that is a matter of Accounting Department record, to-gether with the arithmetical results, has been checked* During the progress of this review a number of differences were dev­eloped, as shown on a statement of three sheets attached hereto* Although considerable of the differences are of a minor nature, all of them have been listed on the statement for consideration and such revision of the final report as may be deemed desir-able* In addition to the differences listed on the state** meat, attention is also directed to the items referred to here­inafter l At the top of page 9 of the report, the caption of column (1) in the table reads "Total gallons produced"* Since the total gallons shown in this column for the years 194©, 1947, and 194# is the sum of the gallons reported in columns (2 ) and (3), it appears that it was the intention to include in this table only the gallons used by LA&SLER Co* and LVL&W Go* On this basis, the gallons in column (1) for the year 1949 should be revised to 3*63M99,92l to exclude the water passing through weir boxes during the semi-monthly weir measurements of wells and springs, which gallonage has been excluded from _ the reporting in column (1) for the years 194©» 1947, and 1948* If this revision is made, the rati© of the gallons in column (3) to the revised total in column (1) would be correetly re­flected as 97,32$* Also, if this revision is made, the caption of column (1) should be revised to read "Total gallons used"* In columns 3, 4 and 5 of ths table report is shown a per-customer trend of: Col# 3# Plant investment, Col* 4* Operating expenses.
