The Silver Slipper Gambling Hall and Saloon opened in 1950 on the Las Vegas, Nevada Strip. The casino was known for its rotating neon slipper on top of the property. The casino operated until 1970 when it was purchased by the Frontier Hotel for use as a parking lot. In 2009 the large silver slipper sign, now lit with 980 twinkle lights, was restored and placed on Las Vegas Boulevard North near Bonanza Road.
