The UNLV University Libraries Collection on Las Vegas, Nevada Show Programs consists of show programs, ticket stubs, fliers, and other ephemera from shows that played in Las Vegas, Nevada between 1950 and 2018. It contains materials about lounge performances, revue shows, Broadway shows, and other entertainment in Las Vegas. The collection reflects the variety of entertainment options and venues available to Las Vegas audiences. Several early Las Vegas resorts are represented in the collection, including the Hotel El Rancho, the Desert Inn, the Dunes, and the Sahara. Other resorts represented include Caesars Palace, the Las Vegas Hilton, the MGM Grand, the Tropicana, and the Wynn. The collection also contains materials pertaining to several famous performers, such as Tony Bennett, Louis Armstrong, Liberace, and Elvis, as well as programs for showgirl productions such as

Materials were processed by Special Collections staff. In 2015, as part of a legacy finding aid conversion project, Angela Moor revised and enhanced the collection description. In 2018, as part of a backlog elimination project, Christina Lamoureux revised the collection description to bring it into compliance with current professional standards.
