Biographical / Historical Note

The Nevada Wildlife Federation (NvWF) is Nevada’s oldest, non-profit conservation education organization and an affiliate member of the National Wildlife Federation. Founded in 1951, the NvWF is a leading voice on issues that affect Nevada's wildlife, wetlands, waterways, forests, ranges, and all other natural resources.

As a volunteer membership organization, the Federation represents the views of hunters, fishermen and anyone who deeply cares about our wildlife and wild lands. With numerous affiliate organizations throughout Nevada, volunteers work on local, state and national conservation issues, helping to sustain Nevada’s natural wildlife resources through conservation and education.
