The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Alumni Association Records (approximately 1970-2009) primarily contain photographic prints of homecoming, graduation, award ceremonies, luncheons, career days, sports, and other events. Also included in the collection are photographic prints of UNLV merchandise, faculty, staff, students, and alumni, as well as subject files with correspondence, reports, brochures, university anniversary planning documents, promotional materials, meeting minutes, and newspaper clippings. Additional materials include contact sheets, negatives, a floppy disk, VHS tapes, a Betacam tape, and keychains.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Alumni Association seeks to engage alumni in campus life by sharing news about UNLV, hosting programs and activities, supporting UNLV's Career Services, and providing networking opportunities for alumni. Alumni contributions have supported capital improvements on campus including the Alumni Amphitheater, Alumni Grove, Alumni Park, and the Richard Tam Alumni Center.

Materials were periodically transferred to the University Archives; accession numbers 2017-081, 2017-082, and 2017-083. This set of records include former record group numbers 9.1.1, 9.1.3, 9.1.4, and 9.1.5.
A summary of the materials was created by Maggie Bukowski in 2018. In 2019, as part of an archival backlog elimination project, Christina Lamoureux rehoused and arranged the materials, wrote the finding aid, and entered the data into ArchivesSpace.
