The Clark County Museum Guild was organized in 1975 to assist in the fundraising and public relations for the education of the general public in the history of Nevada and the west. Their headquarters are located in Henderson, Nevada.

Material was processed by Joyce Moore in 2004. In 2014, as part of a legacy finding aid conversion project, Dallas Reiber revised and enhanced the records description to bring it into compliance with current professional standards.
Subsequently Dallas Reiber entered the data into ArchivesSpace.
