The Aikaterine Vervilos Collection on Public Policy and Gaming (1962-2001) consists of materials collected by Aikaterine Vervilos, an Arizona attorney, for her University of Nevada, Reno master's thesis, "Public Policy and the New Casino Gaming Markets." The collection contains reports on gambling law and horse racing, legal proceedings, and studies related to horse racing, simulcast and off-track betting, peri-mutual gaming, Native American gaming in the United States.

The collection contains studies and reports from the American Gaming Association, the California Justice Department, and the National Gaming Services Group. Legal proceedings, seminar handouts, and specific game analysis reports are present in the collection. Additionally, reports on the economic impact of gaming, Native American gaming, and horse racing at the national, state, and international level are contained in the collection. Papers written by William Eadington and Eugene Christiansen on internet gambling, tax issues in gaming, and security and integrity in gaming are also present. Additionally, bulletins published by the National Indian Gaming Commission and tribal state compacts are contained in the collection.
