Artist, author, and entertainer Terry Ritter began performing on the Las Vegas Strip in 1975, and later retired in 1993 to devote herself fully to her artwork. She wanted to capture the mystique of the showgirl and the extravagant productions, once so popular on the Las Vegas Strip, before the shows vanished completely. Her artistry garnered her a commission to paint a fifty-foot mural in the International Terminal (Terminal 3) at McCarran Airport. It has been welcoming visitors since June 9th, 2012.
